Approximately three years ago we decided to sell our rural property west of Gympie, and settle on the Sunshine Coast We purchased an older house on a canal with full intentions of a “knock down rebuild “scenario as our only plan moving forward.
We visited numerous display homes but because of the many hidden costs involved we decided to use a private builder.
While visiting my bank one day I just happened to enquire if the lady could recommend a local reputable builder. She recommended Grant Martyn Constructions and was kind enough to give me Grant's mobile phone number.
We made contact with Grant and arranged an appointment to meet soon after. The appointment was attended by myself, Debbie my wife as well as Grant and Tash. We were made extremely welcome, and a basic plan was worked out at that time. That plan was changed many times over time, but this was never a problem to the Grant and Tash. When the plan was agreed on, the next step was the selection of tiles, colours and all other internal fittings ect. Tash accompanied us at all times to the suppliers, and assisted us greatly on our selection of all aspects on the décor of our home.
During construction of our home I continually checked on the house progress, and I have to say that Grant was extremely helpful when we were looking for some ideas for extra work to be carried out. His suggestions proved to us that we were dealing with a very experienced building company. On occasion we needed to modify the building somewhat to better suit our needs and this never once was of any concern to Grant and his professional team.
Our home was completed before the scheduled date and both Grant and Tash came to our home for the handover, which showed the true character of these people. Grant Martyn Construction is truly professional company, and I would highly recommend them to any person who was considering the construction of a new home.
